AV Engineer

  • Location: On-site (Projects across North East India)

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled AV Engineer to join our technical team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning Audio-Visual and ELV systems at project sites across North East India.
  • Install and configure AV/ELV systems such as CCTV, PA, FAS, LAN
  • Read and execute work as per technical drawings
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical input
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues on-site
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and client demonstrations
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV, PA, LAN, AV, and Fire Alarm systems
  • Proficient in cable pulling, termination, and device setup
  • Basic understanding of IP configuration and networking
  • Ability to work in field conditions and coordinate with the site team
  • Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills

Role Overview: Automent is hiring an experienced Audio Video Technical Head to lead our AV engineering division. This is a leadership role focused on delivering technically superior AV solutions across corporate, broadcast, and live-event domains.
  • Lead AV system design, integration, and technical execution
  • Manage and mentor a team of AV engineers, designers, and technicians
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical input
  • Handle complete AV project lifecycle – from concept to commissioning
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized AV solutions
  • Maintain quality, performance, and compliance with industry standards
  • Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and drive technical innovation
  • Proficiency in AV systems design and platforms like Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp
  • Strong command of AutoCAD, Revit, and AV design documentation
  • AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I certification preferred
  • Deep understanding of networking, DSPs, control systems, and AV infrastructure
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
